Leveraging Knowledge Sharing to Achieve Sustainable Competitive Advantage in Organizations

The importance of knowledge sharing for sustainable competitive advantage has been emphasised by [1], [2] among others. Knowledge application enables the organization to provide good quality goods and services, improve productivity innovation, delivery lead times, manage complexity effectively respond change. Competitiveness can be achieved through new ways managing [4],[5],[1],[6], others have suggested movement away from bureaucratic management, process improvement, enhanced customer knowledge, brainstorming as avenues achieving advantage. Additionally, [2], [7], emphasized cultures based on transparency trust, continuous learning, employee development coaching, mentorship training. In order encourage change behaviour, [5], use human resource management approaches that risk taking, recognises sources, establishment flexible reward systems team contribution. Managers are also encouraged delegate responsibility, empower workers task flexibility autonomy. Technology used share interaction value generation.
